Founded in 2020 in Upstate New York, Curaxuan is a studio specializing in curating interactive and interdisciplinary exhibitions and interventions that push the boundaries of art, game, and literary creation. The studio has collaborated with prestigious institutions and esteemed clients by offering a wide range of creative services, including curatorial, design, editorial, writing, and educational solutions.
Ruixuan (Rashel) Li is an independent curator, game designer, critic, and writer based in Wisconsin and Shenzhen. She curated Games-in-Residence (Shenzhen), YouXi DimSum (Pittsburgh), and Game Site (Shanghai), and was the Executive Editor of Issue 56, “Curating the Digital Expanded,” of OnCurating. Li contributed to curatorial projects for organizations worldwide, including the Cornell Biennial, Bungee Space, CCA Wattis Institute, and Kadist Art Foundation. Her articles have been featured in The Initium Media, The Art Newspaper China, Artco China, and @LOFT Magazine, etc. She is currently the Overseas Business Developer at an indie game media and publisher indienova and a committee member of the Mirage Sci-fi Magazine.
Her narrative-driven works were presented at the 2019 Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (Shenzhen) , the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, OCAT Institute, and JIAZAZHI Library. She received the 2024 “She Got Game” grant from Pro Helvetia, the 2020 Cornell CCA Grant, and the 2020 NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship.
Ruixuan Li received a BS in Operations Management and Logistics Management from The Ohio State University in 2012, an MA in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts in 2016, and an MA in Design at Carnegie Mellon University in 2023.
She currently lives by the lake and is doing her best to adapt to the winters.
She recently lives in a hill retreat and tries to reclaim her ACG subculture “self” through cyberspace. (2022)

Artists
Siyi Chen is a Chinese screen composer and guzheng performer based in New York. She is known for her continuous exploration of the intersection between music technology and cross-cultural music communication.
Siyi’s dedication extends to over 50 compositions for films, games, interactive media, and commercial music.
Her film scores have been recognized at prestigious events such as the Sundance, Game for Change, Cleverland International Film Festival, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, IDFA. Siyi’s talent and contributions have earned her acclaim in diverse artistic realms.
Additional to her contribution to media world. She is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of interaction the tradition and the technology, as well as fostering community engaments. In 2021, Siyi was selected to the Onebeat Virtual Residency, she introduced traditional Chinese instrument guzheng and Chinese music elements to the residency and delved into the possibilities of producing music with 35 musicians.
Yuehui Du is a product designer focused on crafting innovative AR/VR and AI-driven experiences. With a core competence in developing proprietary XR experiences for in-house hardware platforms, including Rokid AR Glasses and the Samsung-Google XR headset, she has also independently led multimedia projects for clients like the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh Regional Transit, and the healthcare e-commerce brand Erbal.
Her designs have received many prestigious awards, including MUSE Design, New York Design, Core 77, and London Design Awards, while her work focuses on AR/VR experiences, apps, and communication design. Yuehui is an active member of the XR community—often an award winner at events such as the MIT Reality Hack—and mentors in XR Design Challenges to help and inspire other designers.
Parallel to working with design, Yuehui is involved in research work: publications and patents in the field of XR, HCI, and design that smell of innovation in interactive technologies. She commits to combining creativity, technology, and research to craft transformative user experiences.
